Welcome to our second newsletter!

Welcome to the second issue of our quarterly INTREPID Forensics newsletter. Our 10 PhD researchers are coming up to a crucial point in their studies where they will upgrade from being Advanced Postgraduate students to full PhD students (check out their blogs for more on this). In this issue you will find articles about some of the events that the researchers have attended: Forensics Europe Expo, the University of Leicester Richard III Open Day, American Academy of Forensic Sciences Conference, and New Frontiers in Forensics (celebrating the 30th anniversary of the discovery of DNA fingerprinting). We also have a researcher profile of Etienne Pillin.
